This hill station is just about 140km from Kochi, a famous south Indian city located in the Indian state of Kerala.

Whether visitors love to spend time eating, drinking or chatting with their loved ones at a luxury resort surrounded by the natural beauty or they want to go out on short treks to explore the flora and fauna along with some wild animals, Munnar – the confluence of 3 gushing mountain streams has it all. Waterfalls, river streams, tea and spice gardens, century old buildings and forests make Munnar a perfect hill station for everyone in love with the nature!

Natural beauty, resorts, peaceful ambiance, Mountain Rivers, sprawling tea gardens, winding lanes and proximity to the famous Eravikulam National Park (just about 15km) make Munnar a perfect getaway for people wishing to take a quick or long break from tiring, noisy and monotonous city life.

Visitors in the area can shop for a variety of different spices along with raw and processed teas. It is hard not to get indulged in shopping here! Local markets in the area are particularly known for the wide range of baker items they offer. Nearly every newcomer in the area goes home with popular chocolates and other items.

The surreal hill station, with 2nd highest peak in the entire South India is windy and cold in monsoons due to its proximity to the coast. In winters, everyone wears jackets or sweaters in Munnar to stay warm.
